User Data Deletion

1. Delete your account in the app

If you can still sign in, use in-app deletion — this is the fastest way to remove your data.

• Sign in at soulmetric.app.
• Open Settings (profile menu → Settings).
• Scroll to the Data & privacy section.
• Choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.
• You are signed out immediately. Linked profile, chart, forecast, chat, journal, and tarot data tied to your user ID is removed through database cascades when your auth user is deleted.

2. What we delete

Account deletion removes your authentication record and user-linked rows in SoulMetric, including birth profiles, cached forecasts, chat messages, journal entries, tarot readings, compatibility reports, and preferences stored under your account.

We do not retain full payment card numbers. Stripe may keep billing records required for tax, fraud prevention, and accounting under Stripe’s own retention policies.

Backups and aggregated analytics may persist for a limited time before rotation; they are not used to restore your account after deletion completes.

3. If you signed in with Facebook or Google

Deleting your SoulMetric account removes data stored in SoulMetric. It does not remove the Facebook or Google account itself.

To revoke SoulMetric’s access in Facebook: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Security → Apps and websites → remove SoulMetric.

To revoke in Google: Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → remove SoulMetric.

4. Cannot sign in? Request deletion by email

Email privacy@soulmetric.app from the address on your account with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

Include your full name and the email used for SoulMetric (or the Facebook/Google email if you signed in with OAuth). We verify ownership before deleting.

We respond within 30 days, or sooner where GDPR or other applicable law requires.
