Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use SoulMetric. You represent that the information you provide during registration is accurate and that you have authority to accept these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

SoulMetric combines astrology, Human Design, tarot, AI-generated forecasts, journaling, compatibility tools, and related educational content for personal reflection and entertainment.

The Service does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Outputs are speculative and interpretive. Do not rely on SoulMetric for decisions that require licensed professionals. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified provider immediately.

3. Accounts and security

You may sign up with email and password or supported social providers (such as Google or Apple) through our authentication provider. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.

Notify us promptly at privacy@soulmetric.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or abuse risk.

4. Birth data and chart accuracy

Accurate birth date, time, and place power natal charts, Human Design bodygraphs, transits, and personalized AI content. If you do not know your exact birth time, you may mark it as approximate; some features (for example precise Ascendant or house-based interpretations) may be limited.

You may update birth data in your profile. Recalculations may replace cached chart and forecast data.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans (Spark, Seeker, Oracle, Mystic), message packs, PDF reports, Ask the Oracle micro-purchases, and gift cards are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout in USD unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal through your account billing settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges; access typically continues until the end of the current paid period.

We may change prices or plan features for new purchases. We will give reasonable notice of material price increases affecting existing subscribers where required by law.

All fees are final. SoulMetric does not offer refunds on subscriptions, one-time digital purchases, or add-ons except where applicable law requires otherwise.

• Free tier: limited daily forecasts, tarot, AI messages, and core chart previews as described in-product.
• One-time reports and packs: delivered digitally; no physical goods.
• Taxes: you are responsible for applicable taxes unless we are required to collect them.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of text and materials you submit (journal entries, chat messages, uploads). You grant SoulMetric a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including AI-assisted features you invoke.

You must not submit unlawful, harassing, infringing, or malicious content. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except through documented APIs we provide.
• Circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or access controls.
• Use automated bots to create accounts or harvest forecasts at scale.
• Misrepresent SoulMetric outputs as guaranteed predictions or professional advice.
• Infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.

8. Intellectual property

SoulMetric owns the Service, branding, UI, original copy, and compiled software. Tarot card imagery and third-party data remain subject to their respective licenses.

You may share personal chart cards or excerpts we generate for you using in-product share tools. You may not resell bulk forecast or report output as a competing service.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on infrastructure and partners including Supabase (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI generation), chart and Human Design calculation providers, geocoding, email delivery, and analytics when you consent. Their terms and privacy practices apply to data they process on our behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE OPERATION OF CHARTS, FORECASTS, OR AI OUTPUTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOULMETRIC AND ITS TEAM, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SOULMETRIC IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through account settings (subject to confirmation). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms, fraud, or legal requirement.

Sections that by nature should survive (payments owed, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide notice in the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where SoulMetric operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you additional rights, those rights remain in force.
