Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SoulMetric web application at www.soulmetric.app (the "Service"), operated by SoulMetric ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.
The Service
SoulMetric combines astrology, Human Design, tarot, and AI-assisted guidance ("Luna") into personalized content based on birth data and usage you provide. Features vary by subscription tier. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Entertainment only. The Service is for entertainment, self-reflection, and general wellness exploration. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice. Do not rely on the Service for decisions about health, relationships, investments, or other matters requiring licensed professionals. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a qualified professional in your area.
Account registration
- You may register with email/password, Google, or Facebook sign-in, subject to those providers' terms.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at hello@soulmetric.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One person per account unless we explicitly authorize otherwise.
Birth data and third-party information
You provide birth date, time, and place to generate charts. You represent that information about yourself is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
If you add other people (e.g., for compatibility features), you represent that you have a lawful right to provide their birth information and that doing so does not violate their privacy or any agreement with them.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans
Paid tiers (Seeker, Mystic, Oracle) are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis unless stated otherwise at checkout. Prices are shown before you confirm purchase and may change for new subscribers; we will give notice where required by law.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can cancel via Account → Billing (Stripe Customer Portal) or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future charges; access typically continues until the end of the current paid period.
One-time purchases
Reports, credits, gift subscriptions, and other one-time products are charged at checkout. Delivery is digital. Specific deliverables are described on the purchase screen.
Refunds
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started or digital content has been delivered. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at hello@soulmetric.app.
Taxes
Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which Stripe or your jurisdiction may add at checkout.
AI-generated content
Luna and other AI features generate text automatically using third-party language models. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. You use AI-generated content at your own discretion. Do not submit sensitive personal information about others without their consent.
We may use automated systems to enforce usage limits, detect abuse, and improve prompts. See our Privacy Policy for how conversation data is processed.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or third-party rights.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls or rate limits.
- Use the Service to provide professional advice to others while representing it as licensed expertise.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
- Use automated means (bots) except via interfaces we explicitly provide.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.
Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and curated content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain rights in content you submit (e.g., chat messages). You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (e.g., Google, Facebook, Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CHART CALCULATIONS OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Account → Settings). We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or prolonged inactivity, with notice where practicable.
Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) survive termination.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance unless law requires otherwise.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SoulMetric's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
